Kendall Coffey

Kendall Coffey, partner at Coffey Burlington, is a Miami lawyer focusing on complex litigation at trial and appellate levels. A founding member of Coffey Burlington, Kendall Coffey is a fomer U.S. Attorney for Florida. His experience is unique and varied and includes working on the Gore Presidential Election Recount law team and the Elian Gonzales custody battle.

Kendall has been recognized as one of Florida Trend’s Legal Elite, Florida “Super Lawyer,” and South Florida Legal Guide’s “Top Lawyers” , and was recognized by the National Law Journal as one of its Lawyers of the Year for 2000, as Member of Gore Legal Team.

Kendall Coffey is an adjunct faculty member for the University of Miami School of Law as well as teaching lessons for the Florida bar, the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, teh Dade County Bar Assocation, and CLE International, among others. Kendall is the author of several books including Spinning the Law: Trying cases in the court of public opinion.

Kendall often appears as a legal analyst providing commentary for international and national media networks including CNN, Telemundo, the Candian Broadcasting Company, CNBC, MSNBC, and Fox.
